Our story so far…
Why start a business to be just as good as what is already available in the market? We found ourselves discussing this question one evening after work in a traditional London pub. With the experience of working on a global events portfolio, we knew what worked, and what didn’t! Grabbing a scrap of paper and a pen, we sketched out what an ideal events company would be like – and Grey Green Media was founded. Resigning from our jobs the very next day we started building a different (and we think better) events company.
Our first event, The AI in Pharma Summit launched in June 2017 and became a sell-out success. This was quickly followed by the (now) highly respected DTx series. We ran 4 events in 2017 and will run 9 in 2019.
Our summits are built around the audiences we serve. Taking 4 times longer than the industry standard time to research our market we spend time getting to know our audience: what they know, what they need to know and who they want to learn from and collaborate with.
Our goal is to create programmes that are so compelling that they do not need to be ‘sold’ We do not have a delegate sales team, all our tickets are purchased online direct by our customers. Our events sell out with 60% of attendees discovering our summits through word-of-mouth referral.
In September 2017 we held the DTx East summit in Boston, MA. The following week, Digital Health Today published a review of the summit entitled “When a digital therapeutics conference feels like a family reunion” This endorsement perfectly articulates our primary objective, to be an events company that creates the perfect environment for our audiences to meet, learn together and collaborate.
In December 2017 we secured our first global, multiple-summit, sponsor.
